RELEASE: FCP Announces 5-Point Alberta First Unity Plan
EDMONTON, AB: Today the Freedom Conservative Party of Alberta (FCP) announces the 5-point Alberta first unity plan to unite all independence/ non-federalist right leaning parties and movements into one strong united political alternative in Alberta.
FCP 5-Point Alberta First Unity Plan:
1. Form a committee to formally negotiate a unity agreement with the other independence/ non-tory right leaning parties.
2. Negotiate a unity agreement with the other independence/ non-tory right leaning parties.
3. Have a founding convention where members can vote on a democratically elected governing board, constitutional documents, and policy positions.
4. Hold a leadership race.
5. Form 87 Constituency Associations and get 87 candidates prepared for the 2023 election.
This ambitious plan will unite the independence-Alberta first movement into one unified and strong force to be a principled and effective opposition.
The new party will guarantee a referendum on confederation and demand that the provincial government take steps to push Ottawa for a true equal and tangible relationship, or else!
Albertans are upset. It is time to take a stand and build a strong non-federalist alternative to this government. It is time to come together and build a strong home grown Alberta opposition to the Ottawa elite.
